Overview

This IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective summarizes the SAP Insider event — produced by WIS Publishing — in Orlando, Florida, that we attended in March 2012. The focus of the agenda was on product life-cycle management (PLM), supply chain, manufacturing, and CRM. Attendance was good, and Sanjay Poonen from SAP delivered, as the keynote, an excellent overview of how new foundational investments, such as HANA and mobility, were creating new capabilities in the "idea to delivery" processes of manufacturing.
