Overview

This IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective examines how brand-oriented value chain (BOVC) and consumer goods manufacturers are using downstream data — specifically, how manufacturers are using downstream data to affect both the demand and the supply sides of their supply chains and how this relates to investments in demand signal repository (DSR) technologies. We also include results of a survey conducted with Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) magazine earlier this year.
