This IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective analyzes Apple Inc.'s plan to reshore production of Mac computers. The U.S. manufacturing picture got a boost of confidence from Apple last week as the company announced plans to bring manufacturing of one of its Mac computer lines back to the United States in 2013.
